“Sometimes life beats down and crushes the soul, and art reminds you that you have one”
― Stella Adler, The Technique of Acting

Do you believe that art, music, and cultural events make the world a more creative, vibrant place?

Are you insistent that everyone, including underserved and underprivileged people, should have equal access to the arts?

If you’re passionate about helping more people have enriching experiences, Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach has plenty of opportunities for you.

Who is Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach?

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) “is a nonprofit on a mission to bring music, arts, and culture to everyone. Their primary focus is rural, disadvantaged, and underserved populations.

Over the past decade, ORMACO has provided 400+ programs to thousands of people in seven Ohio counties. To accomplish this, the organization uses a multifaceted approach to spreading arts and culture.

This includes:
* One-day and overnight bus trips to museums, Broadway shows and cultural tours
* Film festivals
* Workshops
* Concerts in the country, under the stars and in libraries
* Alternative education programs for youth to learn about music, art, and culture
* Events featuring international music artists

In 2019, the organization collaborated with community agencies that serve people with disabilities to form the Arts Accessibility Advisory Council. Recognizing that people with disabilities may face barriers to accessing events, the Resource Hub was born. This is a collection of materials to address accessibility issues, and urge the local government to do the same.

To continue to enrich the lives of Ohio residents, ORMACO relies on dedicated volunteers to make everything run smoothly.
